Setup
An attacking team (Green) of six players make a formation on one side of the court. A coach (Co) starts with a ball on the service line on the other side of the net. Two blockers (D) and a defender (E) take formation on the coaches (Co) side.
Step 1
The idea of this drill is for the attacking team (Green) to score THREE CONSECUTIVE POINTS. They cannot complete the drill until they do so.
If they make an error, the drill starts again.
The coach can make it 5 consecutive points if they wish.
Use this drill as a continuous game if a ball is recovered after a block.
Step 2
The coach (Co) serves the ball to the (Green) team from the baseline.
Step 3
(Green) must use players (A) defenders and (B) setter to set up an outside hitter (C) to spike over the net.
Step 4
The blockers (D) and the defender (E) try and shut out the point either by digging the ball upwards (E) or blocking the ball up the net (D).
