Diving Shuttles
Purpose
Warm-up emphasising fast movement, agility, and diving.

Instructions
Setup
Players start on the baseline (A) awaiting the 'go' from the coach
Step 1
Players sprint to the first attack line (B) and must touch the line before returning to the baseline (A)
Encourage fast movement by rewarding the player who finishes the drill first
Step 2
Players touch the baseline and then sprint to the next attack line (C), then return.
Players must touch the line for it to 'count'
Step 3
Players run towards the other baseline, and perform a dive before they reach the second attack line (D).
If players have not been taught how to dive safely, have them simply stop and lie down, then get back up.
Step 4
Players touch the other baseline (E) and then return, again performing a dive before reaching the second attack line (F)
As before, only have players dive if they are able to do so without injuring themselves
Drill has many variations: no diving, touch every line, return to the previous line, etc.
