Purpose
A practise drill to improve a counter attack working in small groups.

Setup
2 players use half a court. A setter stands in Zone 3 while another player waits in either Zone 1 or 5 (depending on what half of the court you are using).
Step 1
Player (A) tosses or passes the ball up to player (B) in Zone 3.
Step 2
Player (B) spikes the ball firmly down back towards player (A).
Step 3
Player (A) passes the ball back towards player (B) as accurately as possible.
Step 4
Player (B) then adjust their footwork, then sets towards the net for an outside hitter.
Step 5
Player (A) then sprints and jumps as an outside hitter and spikes the ball hard into the other side of the court.
Step 6
Player (A) goes and fetches their own ball, while player (B) takes the role of player (A) and a new player enters the drill.
Step 7
Coaches can challenge the team and set a consecutive number of drill sequences without any errors.
